Behind the counter were three members of staff who totally ignored me whilst I stood there for well over a minute. I eventually asked the one staff member (who was laying cakes out in the display area) if the place was actually open, she rolled her eyes and said it was, but she was preparing the display area. So, I continued to stand there, and continued to get ignored until the cake and pastry anrranger eventually hinted to the girl near the till that I may wish to be served. I then politely requested a cinnamon bun and a cappuccino grande. However, I was then informed that they had no ordinary milk available as in no skimmed milk, semi skimmed milk or full fat milk. So, I opted for a soya milk substitute, though I was sorely tempted to state the obvious, and ask why one of them couldn’t simply walk a few metres into one of the Sainsbury’s aisles and come back with a few bottles of ‘real’ milk. At no time did any of the staff apologise for the wait, or the inconvenience caused by not being able to fulfil my very basic order. Needless to say, I can’t see myself ever returning….
My husband paid for petrol at the pump at the Sainsbury's Bentley Bridge petrol station, but his card was refused. He had to go inside to pay, which is inconvenient. The cashier mentioned issues with card payments that day. Later, we discovered that £85 was deducted from the refused card and £100 from the other card he used to pay at the till, even though the bill was only £20. Now we are £165 down until the pending transactions are sorted out. This experience was a joke and we will not be using Sainsbury's petrol station again. Be cautious!
I visited Sainsbury's this morning for breakfast at 11:30 a.m. The breakfast was meant to be takeout, but when I got home, I found that the hash browns were severely overcooked, the eggs were rubbery, and the sausages were so tough you couldn't even cut them. It was a disappointing experience for £10.50 as the food was inedible. It seemed like the food had been sitting out for a long time, making it extremely hard and unappetizing. The lack of customers in the restaurant at that time meant there was no excuse for the poor quality of the food. Food should be cooked to order to ensure freshness and taste.
I recently visited a cafe to try their cream tea, which was supposed to be available all day. However, despite there being three staff members working at the till, we were completely ignored. When we finally asked about the availability of scones, one staff member simply said there were none left. Disappointed by the lack of service and availability of advertised items, we decided to buy pre-made scones from the store instead. I would recommend going to the Tesco cafe for a better dining experience.
Tried again after first time let down Went for the big breakfast bacon overcooked no butter for toast other ingredients cold Walked out in disgust Has to be the worst cafe in Wolverhampton
