The issue seemed to be that the staff prioritized take-out orders over customers in the restaurant. Those of us who were dining in expected better service. Improving organization would help ensure that customers continue to visit.
I have tried Indian food at many restaurants in Brussels, but I must say that the food I had at Indus Pride on June 20th was simply delicious and very tasty. The gravies and naans, especially the garlic naan and keema naan, paired perfectly with the chicken dopiaza and malai kofta. The customer service was excellent with a friendly approach. The chef is incredibly talented. It is a kid-friendly place as well.
This Indian restaurant offers a unique menu where you can mix and match various small dishes similar to Spanish tapas. By combining items like naan, papadums, and rice, you can create a delicious and satisfying meal. Many Indian customers enjoy this restaurant, but it is also welcoming and accommodating to individuals from all backgrounds. Some dishes are spicy, but the staff is willing to adjust the heat level for those who prefer milder flavors. The restaurant may be challenging to access for individuals with mobility issues, but there is usually ample parking available nearby, which is a rarity in Brussels.
I’m genuinely appalled by the questionable levels of repulsive attitude displayed by the people serving the place. We walked in on a Saturday night in a not so-full restaurant and were greeted poorly at the door itself. Once we found a table, we waited for what seemed like forever to be handed a menu card. When we walked up to the male server (who doubled up as someone taking orders and managing the place), we were rudely asked to wait or simply leave the restaurant. I don’t believe that this sort of disrespectful service and attitude should be tolerated in a dynamic city like Brussels. No amount of quality food can replace the rotten hospitality of a restaurant anywhere.
We had good Indian food with taste from India. We need to wait to get the food and the service. The ambiance is good. The taste buds were high when we had tandoori chicken and fried rice.b
