Kneading Ruby - Wollongong

Had a couple of lovely pizzas for dinner the other night. Very nice light crusts, wood fired. Big crowd for a Wednesday with groups coming and going. Nice location in an old building with a great and interesting fit-out. Very attentive service with staff who obviously care. I wish this was our local restaurant. I'd definitely eat here again and would thoroughly recommend it.

What a treat! There were 9 of us for a birthday dinner. The set menu was perfect! Creative,varied and Delicious food, plenty of it and served at the right pace. Neither rushed nor too slow. The atmosphere is great, the wine list interesting and the cocktails excellent. Tucked away in the backstreet this is a gem. Oh - the service is lovely also. Be sure to have some garlic bread. It's pretty special!

Went here not long ago for a Friday evening dinner. The service was excellent, with our waiter being extremely helpful and knowledgable. My two friends and I all ordered differently and all our meals were extremely yummy! The cider and the Fireball whiskey cocktail were also very, very good and the cocktail surprisingly came with freshly squeezed apple juice! Would definitely recommend.

Food is always good value. Great winter venue. Service is always good. Great to share plates. Can get a bit noisy so I wouldn't go there with a very big group. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side. Would eat there again.

Husband, son and partner and I had a gorgeous lunch together today - a great find for us. We chose a mixture of "smalls" - gnocchi (soft pillows of goodness), polenta (sensational), duck prosciutto n picked watermelon (OMG), clams (delish) and garlic bread (nom nom). Dessert followed - white chocolate arancini with cream n raspberry sauce, pear n ricotta and chocolate salami. All just yum. Seriously yum. Our wine was from Uruguay - great selection of interesting choices to be had. Loved the venue, seemed intimate for a large space. Loved the wait staff - happy, knowledgeable, friendly but not intrusive. We will be back. Definitely.
