Deliberately unadorned and wooden tables, large counter and offer of excellent dishes, my Haloumi burger was very good, the draft beer too, the service a little clumsy but definitely kind and could be improved. An interesting and well-priced address
New years day meal. Friendly staff, quick service and the food was good. Nachos were defiantly good value, a big helping was plated up. Nothing to rave about but a nice meal. Everyone was happy with their meal. Cocktail was refreshing Watch out for the public holiday surcharge.
Saturday afternoon and thought we would try something new as I love tapas. Decor is charming, best thing about the place was the selection of beverages, my daughter ordered a mock tail which was tasty and served quickly, we ordered a selection of 3 items to share and asked if I could add some prawns to the order, 3 prawns for $4 great so we ordered 6. The other dishes were very average- pork belly served on raw supermarket coleslaw and very sweet! Our prawns arrived , seriously they were the size of a 20 cent piece! Absolutely no flavour and one of them was not even cooked, why bother serving such miserable little shrimps, serve something decent I don't mind paying! When are operators going to realise that people come for the food, so why not put your best food forward!
There were no crowds but the food was good. Plenty of Cuban themed pictures and memorabilia but I dare say a long way from Cuba. Reasonable prices but I don't think you should pay up front as you may wish to order additional items.
We enjoyed our evening with family and ventured out for the first time to this restaurant . Found food tasted great and everyone was happy ;) friendly staff . It would have been nice though if order was taken at table ..
