Warm atmosphere and delicious dishes. We spent a nice time there. It is only regrettable that the place is hidden in the hotel and cannot easily be seen from outside.

We did a lunch here to meet city officials and finish a two-week study abroad. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the service and the ambience.

Unfortunately, the price of this hotel is not true. The overnight stay in the single room is very expensive for a small place like Wolfenbüttel in low season 79 Euro for a single room). My room looked like it hadn't been renovated for decades, old, worn pine wood furniture, strange spots on the carpet). The mini bars were removed for most rooms for ecological reasons, small notes on the crocheted ceiling on the side table), you will find only an empty compartment at the desk. TV reception is also more moderate. Cleanliness was untenable, so neither particularly good nor particularly bad), but overall it looked very common also the bathroom was more medieval. The breakfast buffet for 8 euros was very sweet and clear. No change, every morning the same riddle rates, whether the dish now contains quark or yoghurt contains no inscription) and sausage cheese looked like it had just been squeezed out of the pack and not dressed nicely in any way... And the coffee? on behalf of the old coffee house I had already expected good things, but unfortunately he came in a small silver box, not very tasteful is always a question of opinion). There have always been delays in repeated requests... The reception staff was very nice, the booking also worked great, but the ladies at breakfast were hardly responsive and could not remember my room number after 4 days, or at least that I can have breakfast... and I noticed between all male adventurers. I am only used for the price category of other hotels. Because of the high prices, I prefer to rent 0.5 l beer 4 Euro) and then rather went to the city. was still possible on foot! I won't be back!

With a group of 20 people we were accommodated in a separate room, cozy is different. there was a small menu: sour meat with bratkartoffeln, currywurst with pommes, carving with cream sauce and toast and other treats that do not correspond to today's culinary spirit. a clear view was the friendly and attentive service.

Great meal and service. If you are planning a group event, consider this venue. The choice of entrees for attendees was amazing. Large and varied to accommodate all eating preferences.
