Big Disappointment. A cold and wet Monday night meant it was time for a curry. Eddie 's has a big sign outside that we pass everyday which says MONDAY THAI NIGHTS . Naturally to promote a night as being a Thai Night , we expected that (rather than go to one of several local Thai restaurants , we would find a sufficient spread of Thai delicacies. WRONG. There were just four items on the “Thai Night” page of the menu (one was Sweet and Sour Pork? – but we ordered the remaining three – Pad Thai, red beef and green chicken curries (no selection of condiments or flavoured rices . These were a major disappointment – not only were they nearly an hour arriving (on a quiet Monday night , they were worse than ‘jar sauce’ curries. Bland, bland, bland. Please Eddie’s take down your “Monday Night Thai” sign and stick to what you’re good at. Thailand is Australia’s Number 1 travel destination and obviously your cook has never been there.
We came to recommend our motel operators and had a really good meal. the staff was friendly, eating was good and the prices were reasonable! the real log fire gave the dining room a really cozy feeling!
If they want a big meal and zero taste at affordable prices. that is the place to go. the ordered oyster kipatrick (dried) medium rare steak (correct in sharing baked but not taste) must be cheap meat. veggies, which came with the meal, resembled that cooked by tinted veggies for 24h. the meal did not end as it was to eat pappe. the personal did not move the Entree plates out of the table for the whole 2h there. they go somewhere, but here if they don't want to be let down.
Decent steak pub-mahl. my boss and I came in the world parma night the options were a bit too bizarre for us (e.g. thai, indian, irish and Russian parma? so steak was a good choice.
