Big Sky Bread Cafe - Woburn

I'm really surprised by the poor reviews! I've always really enjoyed their food. The lentil soup here is seriously the best. All homemade and from scratch. Our office orders lunches here pretty often, and all my coworkers seem to enjoy the food here as well. The staff is friendly and remembers you. I've been pretty sad to see them closed for so long due to COVID. Hopefully, they'll reopen again soon, when it's safe of course.

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could, but unfortunately, that option is not available. I ordered Veggie Meatballs from the menu, but received real meatballs instead. Even after confirming with the staff that they were supposed to be veggie, they didn't seem to understand the importance of getting my order right. I have been a vegetarian for 6-7 years, and because of their mistake, I lost the choice of whether or not to consume meat again. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but what if it went against my religious beliefs? I expected to receive the dish that I ordered, and I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail from the staff.

I 've tried to like this place multiple times but i just can 't. my boyfriend and i work in the building every time we go in there we just get blatantly ignored. i personally have gone in there and have to walk out multiple times because i try to get just a bagel and cream cheese and they either look right at me and say nothing or they get annoyed that i am there eventually will take me order but not until i have been there waiting for at least 5 minutes. one day i was waiting to order something for close to 10 min (mind you i 'm the only person in there trying to order i made eye contact with the woman behind the counter) a guy walked in and she immediately greeted him and took his order and acted like i wasn 't there. that was the last time i went in there to try to order anything. then today my boyfriend went in FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES to try to order soup. same as my situation he was the only one in there al 4 times they flat out ignored him and acted like he wasn 't even there then he had to leave because he had an appointment after the 4th time. as he was walking out a woman came in the other door they pretty much yelled to her hello how are you how can i help you? before she was even near the counter. this is also a common complaint among others that also work in the building. i have a lot of people say to me the same thing, that they are completely ignored and then someone else walks in and they jump on them. i find them to be pretty ignorant to be honest with you except the owner. he is extremely nice helpful but he isn 't there all the time. the prices are very high for the building in my opinion too.
