Da Vinci Italian - Witney

I had one of the best lunches I have ever had in Witney at Davinci. Despite eating there every working day, I decided to try a simple pasta dish - linguine al pesto. The pasta was perfectly cooked and skillfully presented, with a delicious green basil sauce that was not too salty. It was clear that the sauce was carefully dropped onto the pasta rather than smothering it. It is rare to find pasta cooked al dente in Italian restaurants in the UK, but Davinci managed to do it. I will definitely try a different dish next time to see if my first visit was just as good as I remember.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent and served with genuine Italian hospitality. It's tucked away at the end of a walkway, but it's definitely worth seeking out for the great value for money and charming atmosphere.
