Los Corrales - WISCONSIN DELLS

I have visited this restaurant about four times now, and with each visit, the food seems to be getting worse. The burrito I just had was not good at all. I don't think I will be coming back again. Additionally, the atmosphere feels too quiet without many people around.

Surprised to see such mixed reviews here. Our experience was fantastic. Everything about it was great from the wait time to the service to the food quality. I will come back for sure.I was a bit taken back by the included 18% tip on the bill. I would have given more, and, it’s pretentious at best. You should consider changing this practice.

The Mexican food at this restaurant is truly delicious. It may be on the pricier side, but that's to be expected in the bustling downtown Dells area. I ordered the al Pastor street tacos and they were satisfyingly tasty and filling.

I ordered Tostada with shrimp ceviche, but got shrimp cocktail on a tostada basically. So I was a little disappointed. It was ok, but definitely not ceviche.

So I’m not usually a person who writes reviews, but being in the restaurant business for 35 years I generally only give businesses praise.However in this case, after spending over $90 using door dash and ordering food from Los Corrales in the dells I had to post this review.I’ll start with the compliments…limited as they may beTacos Al Pastor which are my go to for authentic Mexican were pretty good. Slightly salty but I enjoyed them. What came after was the biggest disaster to be referred to as “authentic Mexican cuisine”Burritos one chicken, one beef…they were served with shredded lettuce which was so water logged it soaked the flour tortillas all the way through. Literally like someone spilled a glass of water in the to go container. ZERO flavorEnchiladas not as watery however ZERO flavor (seemed like the chicken was boiled in water for hours with no spices or even salt)Texas Fajitas Zero flavorRice and Beans, which I usually love…again ZERO flavor. Go to any store and open up cans of said rice and beans (much better)Salsa and Chips WEAK and CHEAP tortillas even though they were house friedGuacamole almost broke a tooth and/or choked on an avocado pit left in it.To sum it up…THE WORST Mexican food I’ve ever eaten in my life and possibly THE WORST food I’ve eaten in the Dells.I can’t state enough that a restaurant that charges the prices they do, the lack of cooking abilities that the….dare I say “CHEFS” have or the complete lack of attention to detail should not be operational for long.I despise Taco Bell, but it would have been better than what I was served
