I was stuck in traffic on rt 1 so I stopped. In for a late lunch. It isn't a fancy place, but the food was excellent! I had the best chowder I've had in a long time and the seafood platter was very good.
A true Maine roadside lobster roll experience! Super fresh, delicious seafood. Friendly staff.
I ate here today, tried a variety of his fresh seafood, some steamed, some fried. Visiting for a week from Oklahoma, eating around the state, this is at the top for flavor! Talked to the owner, main cook, Cecilio. Who has been cooking seafood over 30 years. It shows due to the bright taste. This is basic seafood, no fluff. I can get fluff all day long, but not good seafood at a reasonable price. Right along Hiway 1, don't miss out. Locals were busy picking up lobstets he cooked for a birthday party! As a visitor, make sure your lobsters are cooked fresh on site. These are. He uses just a tiny bit of salted water, the lobster flavor burst in your mouth. His fried gems and steamed oysters, clams and clam chowder are seasoned perfectly! Don't pass this place up.
Just ate there today. Met the owner. Chef has over 30 years experience. Nothing fancy, but great prices and good seasoning. Stop along hi way 1; 74 Flood Ave. Wiscasset. ME. Great flavor
