The Gravesberie Inn, Greene King Pub Grill

The staff were very attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. However, our party of 5 all ordered the fish and chips, and it was the worst I have ever tasted. The fish was extremely dry and there was hardly any fish in the dish. Despite our disappointment, we did not want to complain as it was a treat from my cousin who had travelled to join us. I was honestly embarrassed at the poor quality of the meal. My cousin and her husband often stay at the hotel and have never experienced such terrible food before. I hope this review inspires the restaurant to improve the quality of their dishes. While the service was excellent, unfortunately, the meal fell short. The price per person was £20-30, with a food rating of 2, service rating of 4, and atmosphere rating of 4.

Wonderful and effective Vegetarian choices: Excellent selection of vegetarian options. Average price per person is £40-50. Highly recommended dishes include Fish and Chips and Peas.

We arrived without a booking on Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to be shown to a table. The service was first class as was the food. Everything about the Gravesberie was excellent.
