Oriental Delight - WIRRAL

One of the best Chinese Restaurants on Wirral. Very friendly staff too. Went again August 5 with 5 friends. Had a lovely evening. We were all really pleased with our meals. First class. Service was very attentive without being imposing.

Booked a table with my wife, very disappointed, food was well below par, possibly the worst Chinese I have ever visited, I have cooked better Chinese meals myself. What tasted like raw onions and mushrooms in my meal. Crispy duck was bland, curry samosas totally tasteless, I cannot understand why people rate this place, possibly they can’t or have never cooked a Chinese themselves or are used to chippy meals. The floor around the edges where the carpets meet the skirtings were filthy with what looked like left overs from many nights of diners dropping food. I would not recommend this place to anyone and certainly would never contemplate visiting again,

Nice and relaxed. We take the kids and everyone enjoys it. Food is great. Reasonably priced.

As NYE fell on a Sunday, our usual take away was closed. I rang Oriental Delight ahead to see if we could order and was reassured that they could cater for us. Being gluten free and veggie our choices for takeaway or eating out are always very limited. This restaurant has a separate gluten free section on their menu which is amazing! I collected our food and was warmly welcomed. The restaurant was full and very busy so it was fantastic that they were able to fit us in at short notice. The food itself was outstanding. People with dietary requirements don't want to have to ask a member of staff what they can and can't eat. It's embarrassing and uncomfortable. We need to know in advance as quite often we're left with limited to no choice at all. Not here, this restaurant has the right attitude. Absolutely outstanding food and service. We've found our new place. An absolute gem.

The best Chinese food on the Wirral! Not only is the food fantastic the service is just as great. So attentive and nothing is too much to ask for. Overall a great meal out. Great first visit will definitely be back!
