Die Bratwürste mit Kartoffelsalat sind unschlagbar. Man muss an der Theke bestellen bekommt das Essen aber serviert. Dabei ist die Bedienung sehr nett. Die Lage direkt am Mainufer, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu der kleinen Fähre, ist einfach klasse. Für Radfahrer bestens geeignet.

We're unclear whether indoor eating is available but the Beergarden had a variety of seating from fest tables to more comfortable patio chairs and even veranda covered booths. The overhead cover is painstakingly decorated with live vines in full bloom offering there ripening grapes dangling in bunches. We arrived to find Senior locals enjoying the spirits, food, and weather and quickly learned that orders were placed at the windor and delivered to the table. I tried 3 different beers, the wife had her usual weinschorle, and the girls had cokes. Between us we shared pork steaks (good), bratwursts (good), and flamkuchen (great). The Senior gentlemen working the counter quickly switched from German to English after hearing our butchery of the German language. Our stay lasted several hours due to the fantastic weather, our fascination with the riverboat traffic, and the adjacent kids playground. If you are in the area and want fast friendly fairly priced food with a view, stop in and relax for awhile. It's a stones throw away from the Wipfeld Ferry. If you have too much to drink, it seems they are a hotel as well.

Idyllischer Biergarten am Main. Short hold for ice and cappuccino. Self-service, but very well organized.
