The Veranda - Winterwarm

The restaurant was rustic but not dated. The ambience was fabulous, sprawling landscape, pond, and canopy vegetation. The Veranda is a hidden gem among the bustling town of Fallbrook. A great place to get away as a couple of a family gathering. They even have areas one could reserve for an early happy hour with friends or colleagues.

We had Karina as our server and she was great! My French toast was so amazing!! I couldn't decide what to drink since I do like sweet stuff, so she offered me a tasting for one that I was considering, and she actually brought out a second to try since I mentioned I like sweet drinks. Both were great! (Sparkling wine Almond Chambord) Views were great and they had heaters on during our chilly morning. We got to walk around the venue after we ate and it was so great and relaxing. Will definitely be back!!

What a delight from the environment to the gourmet food. When we drove through the gate it was like entering another world. Lush plants, trees and flowers. We ate on the veranda. Started with beignets as an appetizer. Why wait for desert when might be too full. Husband had specialty egg Benedict with French fries daughter tuna pita with sweet potato fries and I had burger with homemade potatoe chips. Burger perfectly cooked bacon a meal unto itself. Our waitress was efficient very pleasant and helpful. Our fresh orange juice screwdrivers were so refreshing we ordered 2nd round for our walk through the gardens where photo ops everywhere. Worth a trip just to take a walk.

Just wonderful. This was an outing for my birthday and it was great. We were seated immediately, greeted with a veggies/fruit plate and water. Both of us ordered the avocado omelette with potatoes and fruit. Food was great. Received a birthday ice cream with candle. We walked the grounds afterwards

They changed the menu and no longer offer their top sellers everyone came for. No more prime rib sandwich, no panko crusted French toast and the egg rolls that were once one of my favorites are now filled with onions. I dont know if ownership or management changes but the menu and food quality has gone down for sure.
