Angus Grill - Winterville

The have great burgers and the potatoe salad is awesome

Called the location a few times from 7:15-7:30; no answer. Entered the restaurant a couple minutes later and was told by the young man that the restaurant was “out of most ingredients and the grill is shutting down”. There was a table still waiting on food, but regardless, this location closes at 8:00pm which is when they should be serving until. Very disappointing.

Went to eat dinner on Sunday night. There was a sign saying $1.00 off specific burgers so that is what we got but did not receive the it and the guy at the front just looks at us like we were crazy when we said something about it. I didn’t feel like arguing with him. Earlier while we were eating the music in the back in the kitchen was so loud we couldn’t hear the music out in the dining area I said something to him and he said yes ma’am and turned around and walked off next thing I know the music in the back was louder. Also I ask the same guy who waited on me what mayo was on my burger and he said just plain which I said ok good. Next thing I know there was no mayo on the burger. Just did not have a good experience at all! Probably will not be back!

I've been here twice so far, and both times the service was fairly fast and friendly. Also, the food was very delicious, especially the Queso Cheesesteak and sweet potato waffle fries. A little more on the expensive end, but the quality of the food and service are worth it.

I really hate to make this post, because my family and I have enjoyed this place for a number of years. We went there for lunch today and It was the grossest place I’ve every been. There were dead bugs and filth all over the dining room, I had to clean the bathroom so my son could use it. The fried food tasted like they haven’t changed the oil in a month. To the owner please go and get this place cleaned up again, so we can enjoy it again. I know many people that will not go there again including my family until it’s cleaned up. If the Health department walked in there today it would be shut down it was that nasty).
