The Cellar Coffee Shop - Winterset

The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. It doesn't get much better than this.

I always love the drinks when I visit this restaurant. However, I find the atmosphere to be too noisy due to echoing noise. I wish they could address this issue. Other than that, the drinks and food are excellent.

The Cellar is a hidden gem in Winterset, located just off the square down a few stairs. This small coffee shop offers a variety of coffees, teas, and smoothies, but the real highlight is their breakfast burritos. My personal favorite is the everything burrito with salsa. The lunch sandwiches are also delicious, especially the slightly sweet chicken salad sandwich on a flaky croissant and the Duke with roast beef and creamy pepper jack cheese. Their pressed warm sandwiches are a must-try. And don't forget about the scones - you can't go wrong with any flavor. The staff at The Cellar are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile. A visit to Winterset isn't complete without stopping by The Cellar!
