El Norteno Mexican - Winter Haven

Food is decent, service is terrible. We waited 15 minutes to sit, 15 more to say they were made of chips, 15 more to order drinks, then order about 10 more. At the end of our meal, they asked if we wanted chips. A piñata fell from the ceiling and almost hit a child and there were no employees in sight. And they have villains. Not worth the trouble.

Service good. Very friendly. Chips good salsa if that was home made they need to start buying canned. Food OMG Taco Bell has better beans. Probably the worse mexican food ever had. Now I went there years ago and there food has not changed. Still god awful

Bought a Groupon in anticipation of our trip to FL. Finally here and although the sweet tea and salsa are fine, everything else has a weird taste. The guacamole wasn't even real and they charge for chips and salsa. I ordered the nortenos platter and managed a few bites before being completely grossed out. Not to mention the server I saw rubbing his eyes and nose and then serving the table beside us. Our Groupon was denied, even after talking with the server and the rude manager. There isn't much hospitality or good food at this restaurant. I would avoid this restaurant. Sorry Winter Haven, your charming town deserves a better mexican restaurant.

Poor service. Ate around 730pm. Place wasn't busy at all but took us over 5mins to even be recognized that we were there. No apologies for the wait. Cannot sit at a booth if you need a highchair. Lame. Waitress was not helpful when asking about items on menu. Brought us all drinks without straws. Very aggravating! When she finally came back, it was no big deal and didn't even have enough straws for us all. Charge an extra $1.50 for refill of chips... What?! Waitress absolutely sucked. No service throughout the dinner. Never coming back.

Tomatoes and hot sauce dose not a salsa make. Beef fajitas were horrable. Grizzel. Most of it wound up in my napkin. No seasoning, no cheese?? Service bad. Date said. Lets not come back, mine is not very good either .....
