Thai Blossom - Winter Garden

I used to enjoy dining at this restaurant for the past three years, occasionally asking if the curries were vegan. However, during our recent visit, we were told that they are not. I'm not sure if it was a recipe change or if we were misled in the past.

Despite what some reviews may say, this restaurant does not offer any vegan options. We were under the impression that they did, but after sitting down and speaking with the waitress, we learned that all their sauces contain oyster. We left the restaurant, double-checked the reviews, and then went back in to confirm with the front of house staff - and indeed, all their sauces are oyster-based.

They def help with ordering vegan. The curries are not but the stir fry can be. The pad Thai is good- a little oily. The sweet and sour wasn’t my favorite.

While not a vegan restaurant, many items on the menu can be customized to be vegan. It is important to inform your server of your dietary preferences before ordering, as the menu is not clearly labeled. For example, the vegetable soup contains chicken broth and the veggie salad dressing includes eggs. Some sauces are made with shrimp. The servers are very knowledgeable and willing to accommodate your vegan needs.

We recently dined at this restaurant and, as always, the food was excellent and the service was quick and attentive. This is one of our favorite spots in Winter Garden.
