Azteca D' Oro Mexican New Smyrna

Great food in a beautiful environment. They have only been open a week so they were definitely still working out some kinks. We ordered Guacamole and it didn?t get to our table until our food came. The Guacamole is made table side and was delicious. The food took awhile to get to our table about 45 minutes. The restaurant is VERY loud. We sat at a booth on the bar area and the bass from the stereo was shaking the booth.

Upon arriving to the restaurant I noticed that the parking lot was very full. I immediately that what was to come was going to excellent, and I stood correct! When I entered I felt the welcoming warmth of the hostess staff and they were quick to give me the table I most desired. Our server was amazing and took care of us very well. The food came to us exactly as we wished it to be. The wonderful flavors complimented each other very well and I really felt as if I was athome with my mothers cooking. The manager Carlos was very friendly and really made us feel welcomed. An amazing guy with a warming smile, really let?s you know that this is the place to eat at!

I've eaten at many restaurants before and this has definitely took my number one spot! Whenever i entered the restaurant the host staff welcomed my family and I and quickly found us a table to sit at. On the way to being seated I glanced around the restaurant and saw a lot of beautiful art and decor that really blew my mind. The drinks and food at this place are awesome. Our server made sure we were okay and constantly kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything.The manager Carlos also recommended some excellent choices from the menu and made us feel at home.

I wish I could give it 6 stars! The ambiance was perfect see photos , with interesting seating niches throughout the restaurant. Felipe, our waiter, was attentive but not intrusive. The wait to be seated was not nearly as long as we expected for a Friday night. We arrived at 7 pm and were seated within 20 minutes. The chips were perfectly salted and crisp. The salsa had a little smokiness to it along with just the right mix of heat and cilantro. Our meals wereLARGE ladies may want to consider sharing and absolutely delicious. Very fresh ingredients. Most Mexican restaurants I?ve eaten at don't really know what to do with lettuce and tomato. Azteca D?Oro placed it on top of my burrito ?TheMacho Burrito? along with fresh cotija cheese fresh with every bite instead of wilted or soggy. A nice surprise! The food was brought out quickly and hot but not painfully hot. We didn?t have the capacity for dessert but plan to tryit next time around. We have a new favorite restaurant!

Decor was beautiful. Staff was fast, efficient and attentive. Was concerned that food was out in about 5 minutes after ordering. I ordered fajitas which should have come out sizzling. Also ordered medium and got well The prices were extremely high in my opinion. For 2 adults and 1 child spending $80 seems very high.
