Mcdonald's - Winston-Salem

Clearly, I'm the fool for continuing to visit this McDonald's. It's evident that the staff has no motivation to do their jobs well. You should check their pockets before they get to the register because I'm sure something is off or missing. This McDonald's in the city needs improvement!

I placed a mobile order to take advantage of a deal on the app, but no one came out with my order. After waiting for 30 minutes, I finally spoke to someone who acknowledged my order but didn’t actually bring it. I assumed they would get it, but they didn’t relay the orders to anyone who had just ordered. Ten minutes later, we inquired again, but still received no assistance, so we had to request a refund. The manager, who had been standing just a few meters away the whole time, never approached the counter and eventually processed my refund without explaining why we never received our food. When we asked about our order, she didn’t respond at all. The management and customer service were extremely lacking. We wasted so much time, and there were plenty of employees around, so it didn’t seem like it was just a staff shortage.

I don't think this review is exaggerated at all. I waited 10 minutes for a sweet tea and an iced coffee, and I didn't ask for any flavor in my coffee. It seems like common sense to serve drinks with the food at the pickup window, which would have made things easier for the staff. Not having to deal with flavor requests could also simplify their work. It was confusing to see them rushing between four different vehicles, unsure of whose order was which. It's frustrating because listening is key in situations like this.

The service had two speeds: slow and stop—every single time. I dined in for lunch, and the meal was priced between $1 and $10. The food was great, earning a solid 4 out of 5, while the service was lacking, rated at just 1. The atmosphere was pleasant, receiving a 4 as well.

While the food may not be the healthiest option, many people still enjoy it. McDonald's can be a great choice for a cheat day. I would recommend it!
