Maxburger Burger Grill - Winston-Salem

When this restaurant first opened, I wasn't particularly impressed. However, my husband has been a fan since his very first bite, and I must admit that they've really improved since then. We celebrated his birthday here tonight with a party of nine, and everyone was pleased with their orders. The drinks and desserts were delicious as well. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and we had a fantastic server (I wish I could remember her name!). Last summer, we brought my 90-year-old aunt here, and she claimed it was the best burger she had ever tasted. Definitely give this place a try!

We are so pleased that we decided to randomly try this restaurant! The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. While the prices are higher than some other burger spots, you certainly get your money's worth: the burgers are well-cooked, the rolls are high-quality, and the toppings are fresh. My only minor issue is that the burgers are a bit thick. This place will definitely be one of our go-to restaurants!

The burger was acceptable, but not the best I've ever had, and I didn't find it worth the $12 price tag. While it was cooked to my liking, both the burger and bacon lacked that fresh beef flavor I was hoping for. Also, stay away from the pickles—they're served on the side for a reason! I tried to discern their flavor, but all I could detect was a hint of mint, which was strange. On a positive note, the highlight of my visit was the friendly waitress and front-of-house staff.

The food has been good the 2 times that we have been here. The service however can be improved. It took about 20 minutes to get a drink, during which time we pondered leaving. The restaurant seemed understaffed so not entirely their fault but the waitress could have acknowledged that they were going to be with us soon. Once the food came out we were satisfied and didn’t have any issues. Would recommend for the food, but management needs to fix the timing of service/staffing.
