Genghis Grill - Winston-Salem

The first time for me was pleasantly surprised. they can be selected from a small, medium or large bowl. then choose your food from a raw bar and take to the Mongolian grill, where they eat rice, noodles and add other food to your request. her so-called little bowl has now doubled. have hungry! good food for the price. the service was also good.

I think the restaurant is a great please. The food is good and the set up is nice. The price is a little high and they charge extra for white sauce. I have no problem the extra charge, I have problem with the sauce not being filled up so you won't ask for extras.

This review stands tall and is ONLY for this particular branch. No other branch considered hence I will not focus much on spices and sauces options they provide like other reviewers. Review during the covid panemic visit: They now offer the customers can fill up their own bowls to start the process. Which I am kind of not completely in favour of (considering we're still in middle of pandemic) but I'd agree it is faster and more fulfilling for customers. The staff was friendly and welcoming but the service was not that fast (because they seemed a little understaffed not their fault). Management needs to invest a little more on increasing staff. The people who worked here seemed to be working hard to get to the customers fast. The hygiene was good but not 100%. The food quality was very nice and nothing looked under/over cooked on the grill.

The server was awesome! Bright, energetic and engaging. The kitchen went off the rails. It took over an hour to receive our cooked meals. And there weren't many people in the restaurant. This was a birthday outing and it was marred by the exceptionally slow cooks. Two of our party of 5 got their food at 45 minutes and the rest of us waited another 15 minutes so we ended up eating in two shifts. If this continues, this place won't remain open.

I hadn 't been here in over a year, but used to frequent this place. The lack of customers on a Friday night at this formerly packed restaurant, and huge 'now interviewing ' banner out front should have been an indicator. Nevertheless I thought we 'd go on in and give it another chance. We were seated quickly as there were only like 2-3 tables occupied. There seemed to be enough staff for the amount of customers. The server took a while to come take our drink orders, once we got the drinks and put our food order in, it took a long time to get our food (not to mention our appetizer didn 't get to us till after we got our bowls). We had to actually remind the server that we ordered an appetizer Of course, we then had to wait an additional 10-15 min to get it. She did apologize for that part. I 've never had a bad meal here but this time it was lackluster. I ordered the pad Thai, my husband had the 'create your own ' bowl. Food came out looking and tasting burnt and didn 't have a great texture. I 'm glad I only ordered the small. The white sauce is now brought out in to-go cups that were not even half filled. Overall the experience could 've been better.
