Butcher Bull - Winston-Salem

Lori did great! The food was delicious and hot. The muffins were nothing special. The mimosa was on point! Thank you for the yummy hot coffee!

The CAB Ribeye was delicious, nicely seasoned and cooked the way we wanted. The Fontina Mac'n'cheese was so good and grits were fantastic. But what really made our night was the excellent service we received. Our server, Destin, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations.

Very convenient location downtown and love that it stays open later. My boyfriend and I got to Winston-Salem late and was looking for somewhere still open. The fact that it is in a hotel is fine but very dark lighting and loud. I got the salmon and he got the St. Louis ribs. They were cooked the way we asked but flavor was just average for the price.

Where do I start? Our server was amazing, and he recommended the watermelon salad and Caesar which we loved. Our fish was tasty and bread pudding for dessert. This was our first visit, but won't be our last.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend Butcher Bull. On their About page of their website it reads "BUTCHER AND BULL IS KNOWN FOR ITS PERFECTLY COOKED STEAKS "My wife ordered her steak medium well. It was cooked rare. I ordered my burger medium well and it was cooked well done. Our waitress was horrible. She took our order, brought us our food, and gave us the check, those were the only times we saw her. Sad.
