Vientiane Restaurant - Winnipeg

Overpriced. They serve Thai curries with veggies. Meat costs extra, Rice costs extra. Ok, it is edible if you are a fan of Pad Thai and similar things, but there is nothing special. Service is fast (probably for there's not much to cook). As to the atmosphere, there isn't any, just a small caffe like any other small caffe.

Hands down, this is one of my favourite restaurants in Winnipeg.I worked up the street from them for a couple years and I went for lunch with coworkers nearly every day.I still go whenever I can.I have very literally eaten here a few hundred times and I have absolutely loved every single meal I've ordered across the whole menu.They put everything they have into their food, and as long as they're open, you will not find better soup in this city.

This is a very wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing, fresh,tastes great,large servings and beautifully plated. The decor is pretty. The staff are polite and kind. I will go here again.

They did not follow instructions. I ordered Red Thai Curry Soup off of Skip with clear instructions for vegetarian, no chicken. When the food shows up there is tons of chicken it it. So I call the restaurant back and they do not even apologize just say, “you want your money back?”. I told them that I wanted a new one like I had ordered but I had to go pick it up cause I was told there was no way to “get it to me”. Very poor customer service. Will not be ordering here again.

Every time I order from here, I order the Massaman curry (level 4-5 spiciness) it's one of the best tasting foods I've ever had! Highly recommended!
