The Diner's Grill - Winnipeg

Great looking lunch menu, but we were there for breakfast.Had high hopes based on word of mouth...and The Beatles and Pink Floyd posters!Very nice seasoning on hash browns; everything else was very standard. Overcooked eggs (come on, Winnipeg!) and sausage also pretty flavourless.French toast was really flavourless. Even with the syrup!Nice to see they do baked eggs, which is pretty unique.

Met a buddy who was in town there for lunch, burger and fries were good and prices fair. However, I can't rate any higher as we were asked to leave as soon as we finished our meal in order to free up the table for someone else. I get that they had people waiting and have limited seating, but we weren't even done our drinks yet...a few more minutes would have been polite.

Excellent stop for a quick lunch. I had the chicken fingers and Caesar salad. The chicken fingers were homemade with light coating and substantial meat. The Caesar dressing was definitely homemade but added charm to the whole experience. Good value and friendly place.

We recently visited the diners grill. The chicken wrap was awesome. We topped that off with their poutine. I left feeling quite satisfied . Actually took half of the wrap home. Portions large. The size of the burgers were huge! Staff were friendly.

We had a busy day and heard great things about this little gem so decided to stop in for lunch. Service and Food were great. Reasonable price for a tasty lunch. My husband and I shared the Club House Sandwich with home made fries and it was plenty for both of us. I could barely get my mouth around the sandwich and the fries were great.
