Thai Bochi - Winnipeg

The location is kind of strange. No working sign, no ambiance and people are coming in and out constantly picking up take out. Clearly it is mainly a take out place and they definitely need more staff to keep up. It took 1.5 hours to get a cocktail (seriously). Very amateur wait staff..lovely but needs help. That said, all of our dishes were excellent. The spring rolls the best I’ve had, curries with lovely presentation and really good. Definitely recommend for the food..just don’t expect much from the environment or service.

Burgers were out of this world, and the cocktails tasted like summer. Definitely a must go to for Le Burger week 2022

Updated review: The food is excellent just not what I expected. And so in the future I would order here. I bet if I asked for more heat that would have changed things ;)Old review: The food was fairly fresh and very good. But it reminded me of Chinese the dishes we tried. The Tom Khai Coconut Soup was missing the sour and was more hot n sweet with pineapples in it ?. Not my style of Thai... so I won't order again as it was way to sweet ? . The other dishes where good but not thai favored and had sweet elements.But for those who may not know real Thai I'm sure it's great.

Classic don’t judge a book by its cover story. Not much from the exterior but it is a well designed contemporary space with the best Thai food in the city. Vi-ann was my go to but it was closed and we found our way here. Lucky us. This will be my first choice and highest recommendation.
