No one had any complaints and everyone loved their cocktails. the rose chicken and gnocchi was divine and so rich. the pizzas were the real stars. I was tired of honey on pizza, but there was nothing to fear. will be absolutely back.
Two words. got vater! a friend of mine told me that I only had to come to taste this pizza and I'm sure I did it! who would have ever thought to put honey on a pizza? well, it is for tasty to die! this place is really very beautiful, great atmosphere and a great small terrace as well. all that eating around me looked incredible so I can't wait to come back and try more dinge, although it will be hard not to order the gott vater again!
Out for our anniversary dinner, walked on Corydon. Choose Mano a Mano because of the outside patio.Comments:- outside patio is spacious with a reasonable number of tables/seats available. Our table was on the street edge which was a bit to close to traffic, noisy & smelled exhaust fumes after a couple of vehicles- asked server about an item on the antipasto plate and didn't know, turns out it was pickled vegetables. She also did not know the types of cheeses on the plate- my wife had the mista salad and she felt it was not very tasty however the ingredients were fresh, a bit pricy for the size of the serving- I had the caprese salad with was very tasty, the chef hid a poor slice of tomato on the bottom layer of the salad. This piece was a unripe, near the stem piece- the white sangria was good but was quite expensive because of the size of pitcher and an huge amount of iceWe enjoyed the evening but will try other establishments in the future
This place is trying, I'll give them that. They're trying to keep the look fresh. It's clean. All the beer taps look nice etc. And, I'm the first to say, I tried 1 item. But, if that item could stand in for the whole, there's trouble. We just wanted a drink and some calamari. The drinks were fine; in fact, intriguing garnishes for the Caesar. The calamari comes as "fried calamari and shrimp with cauliflower, zucchini and diavolo sauce"What arrived were 2 shrimp, a variety of sizes of cauliflower, zucchini sticks and a few pieces of calamari all battered and dropped in a fryer together. All you could taste was batter and oil.Really, really average.
We had the Godfather II pizza - mmm! Very unusual and very good - I would definitely come back for it. The Fritto Misto was excellent as well. Very enjoyable meal. We will return to try the other pizza and menu items.
