Shooters - Winnipeg

Have you ever been to a place to eat and you just feel like you are at home? The food is always fresh, the staff attentive and welcoming. There is a variety to the menu and all the meals are freshly made and taste home cooked. From breakfast, lunch and dinner to special events I would give Shooters two thumbs up!

Seafood night at Shooters Our group had an amazing time! There was 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. And we strongly disagree with one of the other posts. It was clear to us that all of the food was fresh and prepared with care. Our meal started out with the stuffed mushrooms, and we all agreed they were excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Next was the lobster bisque soup, clearly home made, hot and full of flavour. One of our group joked about licking the bowl to get every last drop. The mussels had a wonderful and fragrant white wine sauce, beautifully seasoned and the mussels themselves were fresh and tender, our only suggestion for improvement was for a bit of bread to soak up the sauce to enjoy to its fullest. For our main course we had one salmon, which was excellent, and 3 steaks and lobster. The lobsters were a great size, tender, cooked just right, often people cook lobsters till they 're a bit rubbery, but not here. And the drawn butter was a wonderful addition with the added herbs. The potatoes and asparagus were great additions to dinner. Our meal was stopped of with a homemade cheesecake. Everything was served by attentive and friendly staff. This was a meal that would have easily been $25.00 a person more at a 'fancier ' restaurant and not prepared any better.

An awesome place to play a quick round of golf. Shooters is always one of the last places to close in the fall, so for the die-hard golfer, you have a place to play until the first snowfall hits! Friendly staff, great food, and all the amenities you could ask for. 'Two Thumbs Up '!

Great food, lots of variety, excellent service and the place itself is very cozy and welcoming. We will definitely come back again and again!
