Love the atmosphere, darker lighting, if you can get into a booth it is nice to have. The antipasto is very good here :)

I am so very disappointed by my latest visit to Cafe 22. I am a regular and more than 20 times in the past 5 years I have enjoyed a signature dish served at only this one location of Cafe 22 chain.It was an Appetizer Flatbread style pizza drizzled with truffle oil topped with Mushrooms, large shavings of Parmesan Cheese, and a poached egg on top! I often asked for 2 poached eggs since after piercing the egg there usually wasn't enough yolk to cover the whole pizza. It was fantastic, the only reason I came to this restaurant, brought many friends here for their birthdays, and I told at least 50 more to come here to enjoy it. But now it's GONE!!Why would they remove a signature item you can only get at one restaurant in all of Winnipeg, maybe even all of Canada!! I can go for a Pizza, or a Greek Salad anywhere. I came here often for that one dish and to also order a salad and another main pizza or other dis for a full meal with my friends. Now, there is no reason to come here because although their menu is good, I can get a good pizza and salad closer to home. There is no longer that one special and outstanding dish on their menu. I don't plan to return until I hear that item has been either added to the menu, or that the ingredients are kept available in back for the many customers who I heard do come in and ask for it to accommodate special off-menu order, or to make it a special menu item every day.

Went there not knowing what to expect. The Sangria was sooo yummy. The salad was decent and pizza was good. Not sure if I would go again for supper. But it would make a great little spot for lunch.

The food at Cafe 22 is quite good. Well known for their wood fired pizza, but that's not what I had. I had honey garlic chicken wings and a very good Greek salad. The wings were good, our artichoke dip with flatbread was very good and the Sangria was wonderful!

We frequent here often due to the convenience of the location. The stone fired pizza is great; the topping selection is awesome. They have a decent enough wine list and beer selection. Service at the bar is always a lot better than in the restaurant, but I think that is just due to the servers having sections that are too big. Patio is nice in the summer. The food and drinks are a good value for what you get and pay for.
