JC's Tacos & More - Winnipeg

I went to JC’s Tacos for the first time for dinner on September 10, 2020. The menu offered a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes. I ordered a taco platter and asked for it to be made vegan. The platter came with three tacos, rice, salad, and refried beans. The tacos were delicious, filled with grilled veggies, mushrooms, salsa, and guacamole on corn tortillas. They tasted fresh and flavorful! Even though vegan tacos were not on the menu, they were very accommodating to my request. I enjoyed the colorful Mexican decorations in the restaurant and they had tables available for dining in. I would definitely return again!

I adore this restaurant for its amazing vegan and gluten-free burrito bowls and refreshing watermelon juice! While the menu may not have obvious vegan options, the friendly staff are happy to suggest delicious options for vegans. The guacamole is amazing and the rice used as a base for the bowls is also delicious.

I have eaten here a few times. At first I was impressed by the quality but on my last visit the food was not good at all.

Went to a mid afternoon lunch. We had the taco trio platter, one chicken and one ground beef. Service was very quick. Both were very tasty and there was so much food we did not have to eat dinner! Great selection of hot sauces, nice and spicy but with great flavor as well. Will definitely go back.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and a taste of Mexico. I tried the barbacoa taco and chorizo tostadas, liked both, but I especially enjoyed the tostadas. It is well worth the dollar to make the tacos a platter and get the mexican rice and beansThe prices may be a bit on the high side, but the portions are good as are the ingredients.
