Elements The Restaurant - Winnipeg

Went today for the first time and was not impressed Service was indifferent from the get-go.

I love this building - I call it the "period table of elements" building but it's' really the U of W's Richardson College for the Environment and Science

The clientele appear to be mostly the corporate lunch crowd, professors, the well-to-do, and the semi-retired.

Paid almost $8 and waited 40 minutes for a chocolate lava cake, got this.It's definitely just a chocolate muffin. No molten chocolate and looks nothing like the other lava cakes I've received. Seriously not impressed. They gave me a refund and a free cake which I appreciate : . Still spent 40 minutes of my life waiting for a muffin, though.

Very hit or miss. My Korean Fried Chicken came with 3 tiny pieces and a massive mound of plain, super dry white rice topped with raw tomato and nothing else... for $17. Fries are good though.
