A&W - Winnipeg

The burgers are tastyThe fries are greatI love the root beer float and their milkshakes are pretty goodIt's a clean place overall.

Normally I wont eat at or review fast food places but this lunch experience was so bad I have to I only ordered fries and a mozza burger the fries were so soggy and greasy that they were just muss the burger was under cooked and guess what no mozza when I complained the girl told me that with no receipt I couldn't prove what I ordered but I wasn't given a receipt when I payed also was not napkins its a wonder why this vendor had no lineups

A & W isn't quite as charming as when we ordered from the car with the trays, but they still have those chilly heavy mugs for the awesome root beer. Retro eating it isnt' but it is handy, fast and reliable.

But when my husband and I are in a hurry and eating on-the-run, A & W is the only place we'll go. Mozza burger for me, teen burger for him. We usually get the combo that comes with fries and root beer. All the other places are too greasy -- even the ones that claim they're grilled or use the "good" kind of oil. No thanks! It's A & W for us!

The food and service was amazing and the business was not that busy despite being on a major bus route
