Pauline Bistro - Winnipeg

Excellent breakfast/lunch place in Winnipeg. I like the limited menu because you are not overwhelmed with options. My favorite part, they take reservations not many places in Winnipeg provide reservations.

Food, service and general experience was absolutely perfect!

Delicious food, great portions and cheap. Coffee was a bit bland, but general meal was very good! Service was excellent!

We were fortunate to get the best table in the house located near the window with a cushioned bench on one side. We got frequent refills of coffee and our meal was served in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. It was somewhat odd, however, that the waitress served the first meal to my husband, even though I’d ordered the same thing and was the first to order. But he just passed the meal to me and was served his plate moments later. My friend ordered the West Coast Salmon Bagel and was somewhat disappointed that she received an Everything bagel, which isn’t mentioned on the menu. She doesn’t like onions on her bagel and proceeded to cut off what she could before she began to eat.

Great spot for brunch. Food was great and generous portions. Will definitely go back.
