Mistral's At Toll Gate - Winhall

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right. The drinks, such as the pink squirrel and satin Manhattan, were delightful and paired perfectly with the exceptional entrees. We started with the scallops and mushrooms, which were delicious. For the main courses, we highly recommend the duck and veal. This is a wonderful place for a date night or any special occasion! Service: Dine-in.

We’ve been here several time a and have never been disappointed. The food is very good and they have one of the best wine lists in southern Vermont. The leon chicken and rice was to die for. Best soup I've ever had in my life! Food was perfect. Served you just enough. Pomegranate martini was decent. The view was incredible! I've dined annually at Mistrals for more than 25 years. The reason I keep returning is that a more enjoyable meal cannot be had in the area. The combination of Chef Dana's kitchen, the extensive wine list, and Cheryl's delightful hospitality, added to the incomparable atmosphere, make every one of the numerous meals I've had there unforgettable.
