Lotus Palace - Wingham

We have eaten Chinese all over Australia and this was a 9/10. Thoroughly enjoyable. You are a fool if you let this one go by. The chilli sauce was the best i have ever tasted.

Anyone that thinks this is GOOD needs to get out more!

This was the worst Chinese food experience we've ever had. It should have been a red flag when they asked us at 6 PM on a Friday night if we wanted to turn on the air conditioning because there was no one else in the restaurant. The food was disappointing; the king prawns were flat and the sauce was an oddly dark green paste with an unpleasant taste and texture. The spring rolls were dry when reheated, and the chicken and ham rolls had a strange consistency. The only highlight of the meal was the sweet and sour sauce that accompanied the rolls. To top it off, the Eftpos machine wasn’t working, so we had to go to Coles to withdraw cash and bring it back. They were lucky we even returned with money! If you’re in the city, I recommend going to the Curved Café down the street – it’s a much more enjoyable experience.

They have been coming to this restaurant for many years and truly enjoy the food. Lisa is an incredible cook!

I wasn't very pleased with my visit tonight. I ordered the special fried rice, but it tasted burnt and had lettuce in it, with no meat whatsoever. I was really disappointed and couldn't even eat it. The dried noodles I paid $5 for were stale and old. I spent $41.10 on food that just wasn't good.
