The Orwell Public House - Windsor

Went with friends for lunch on a weekend. Great beverage selection, and great food. My friend and I absolutely loved the poutine, and the burgers were very good as well. Am interested in returning on a night when they have music. Would definitely recommend trying it out!

A nice surprise. I was across the street at Justin's auto getting my jeep fixed so I decided to head across the street for lunch. Loved the look of the place. It had the dive bar kinda look but cool. Had the chicken club and it was delicious and the home cut fries were also very good. The beer was cold and the service was good. Also Justin from the auto shop gave me a coupon for 15% off. Neighbours helping neighbours. Very cool. I will return

I ordered THE BOXER burger with a side of coleslaw and it was the best burger I ever ate in my life. The coleslaw was fantastic as well. I will definitely be going back.

We all enjoyed the excellent tomato vegetable soup as well as risotto, and lamb appetizers. The service was friendly and efficient.

After decades of having ignored the place, Friends told me it had picked up under new ownership. Decided to give it a try. Other than remodeling, it seemed like the same atmosphere. BUT, when I saw the menu and selection of beers, I knew it had become something more special. The sandwiches, even though taken from cooking/restaurant shows on tv, were well made and tasty. Steak fries were cooked well and staff was pleasant. Definitely a keeper.
