Very tasty and authentically Italian thin crust pizza, with a fantastic menu to boot. Great weekly deals and student specials, in particular.

Waited to write this until after the holidays to be nice-by far some of the worst treatment I have ever experienced! We made last minute reservations before a show to the Capitol Theater, which my young daughters were IN, which they accepted in mid December. Due to weather, we were late by almost 15 minutes. Our reservation was for 6, and we were all travelling separately, as our friends were from Tecumeh, we came in from Lemington, and my husband came separately as he had to work after the show. The restaurant was almost empty, but once we were addressed, the lady hummed and ha'd over the reservation book, and then said she couldn't sit us. We explained the girls had a show, could they just get a pizza? She ultimately refused, even though the pizza maker ws standing there doing nothing and witnessed the whole thing. Now close to 6:30, she said they needed the tables- the girls would have had to be in the theater by 7:15- she would have had her table. We even told her not to worry about our friends who still hadn't made it, or even us, just please feed the kids! Anyone who has ever made a wood fired pizza knows they take 5-8 minutes tops once they hit the oven - the pizza guy could have fired in a cheese pizza for the kids and they could have been eating by the time we finished fighting! No-one came in the restaurant during this whole confrontation. I am a chef, with my own restaurant, and will NEVER set foot in here again. It was a dirty dump when I was in university and college, and the treatment of guests has obviously never improved.

I've had a lot of Terra Cotta pizza over the last few years and it's always been consistently great! They have a variety of pizzas and they are very reasonably priced. I appreciate the thin crust and love their signature sweet hot sauce! Walking into the restaurant you have the pleasure of seeing the pizza being made right in the front window and the amazing smell and view of the wood burning oven. It really is a nice little spot for a date night or catching up with friends!
