Spitfire & Firkin - Windsor

I highly recommend The Spitfire pub to anyone who enjoys pub food. It is a fantastic local pub with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.

I’ve been to this pub a few times when the name was Spitfire and Firkin. The menu has changed and been reduced in size. Great place to relax and unwind, there’s a nice outside patio, however ,it does need a makeover . The staff are welcoming and efficient but you can tell many are new.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced with generous portions. The restaurant was clean and our server was efficient and attentive. We will definitely be coming back.

The restaurant has been rebranded as the Spitfire Restaurant and Pub. The food was delicious, and the service from the waiter and waitress was friendly and attentive. The manager, Dimitri, was very accommodating when there was an error with our dessert order. We definitely plan on returning.

Stopped on our way home for dinner. We had an order of fish and chips and an order of chicken fingers. Fish was mostly batter with a handful of chips,and the chicken fingers were small with a salad and a side of coleslaw. The bar was not half full when we entered but still took a fair bit of time to get meals. Server was helpful and place was clean. New management apparently had not made any improvements in the food. Would likely not return.
