Was looking for something different and even though I’ve had middle eastern, I have not had Iraqi food specifically.Was not disappointed at all.Had the Iraqi kabob platter and Mousel kibbeh. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the tastes were familiar but different at the same time.The staff was absolutely friendly and a joy to converse with.I can see why this restaurant was highly rated.It may not be fanciest but I come for the heart of the food, not shininess of the floors.Absolutely make an effort to try a unique cuisine that is here.

Do yourself a favor and visit this amazing restaurant in Windsor . The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Windsor . Amazing Iraqi food. Our dishes were beautifully plated and delicious to eat.We found Queen Ashtar because of the internet hype, but would return solely for the tasty cooking.
