Red Sun Restaurant - Windsor

This place is a bit of a dive inside, but the food is really good, mostlyWe take out alot, but they seem to mess up our take out from time to time.

Anytime we are in the area I try to order from here love their special fried rice and chicken so guy.

I was shocked to see a bad review. We eat far too much Chinese food and have tried them all over the years. For this style of Chinese Red Sun is the best. The Best wonton, The Best beef with broccoli.. and if you get...sauce on top chicken balls it will bring you back to the old days where it wasn't a few greasy bread balls in a box with fake sauce. Their gravy is real, not white sludge. We do try others, but always come back to Red Sun. BTW they close every July for Vacation. We are the first to order in August if that tells you anything.. Ordered deluxe dinner for two.k Loads and loads of terrible greasy food. The wonton soup was hot water with a empty wonton in it just the shell. Upon going in to pick it up I noticed how dirty the windows were and the interior should...have walked out then.

I have eaten at Red Sun for most of my adult life. Our last meal around Christmas was bad. So horribly greasy I called and complained. I got a sorry. So it's my birthday we ordered again. Same thing super greasy rice and noodles. The...shrimp were over cooked and I ordered fried wontons and got a soup. I'm not sure what happened to their old cook but they need another one.
