Marukin Steak & Sushi - Windsor

The appearance and interior is not very impressive, but do not be fooled by it. We came here recently and found the Japanese and Thai food are very impressive. Waitress and owner are attentive. If you like Asian food and happen to be in Windsor, you should give it a try.

One of us ordered a bento box (shrimp) lunch and one of us ordered hibachi chicken dinner. Both meals were excellent. The dinner was soup followed by salad, followed by a lovely plate of chicken, vegetables, bean sprouts - white rice on the side. The bento box was soup followed by the box which came with salad, Udon noodles, shrimp (5 nice sized and nicely cooked) and rice.Everything was very good - freshly prepared and nicely cooked. Reasonably priced, attentive but not intrusive service. We'll be back!

Stopped for dinner and had chicken teriyaki dinner and shrimp and scallop teriyaki dinner with a glass of wine each. Soup stater followed by a nice small salad flowed by the dinners. The waitress was very helpful as she asked if we were new to the restaurant. Located in a plaza out of the way,but well worth the effort to get here. Food extremely good,delightful flavor,excellent service. Would definitely would recommend to anyone who likes Japanese cuisine. They also serve sushi and Thai for dinners. Will definitely return.

I've been coming here for dinner for almost 10 years and have never had a single problem. Consistently good service and good food. I order the salmon bento box every time which including tax and tip comes to about $20, which is a very fair price for the amount of food they give you. They have a very large menu (they actually give you two full, several page menus), so I am confident to say that anybody can find something they like. It is my favourite restaurant in east windsor/tecumseh and I would recommend this place to anyone! Great atmosphere.
