I was pleasantly surprised to see the pizza arrive earlier than expected, but I was scolded by the restaurant for not answering their calls (which came from a Manitoba number with no caller ID - strange!). Then the delivery driver was rude to me for making him wait, which was uncalled for. I will not be ordering from this place again in case I have to deal with either of those individuals again. I'll try my luck with a different local restaurant.
I told the guy over the phone to put double sauce. He kept saying extra sauce. I said please make sure it's double. He said that's what they do, is add extra as double. The pizza was good and I would give it more stars. The only problem is it definitely did not have double; doesn't seem that way at least, and this isn't the first time they lied to me over the phone. Capri downtown was10xs better years ago. Maybe they are not the same owners, cheap, lack class or something.
Ok folks the best pizza in Windsor is Capri on Lauzon road.absolute thee best.for party for anything can't beat it.ive ordered fr them for the last6-8yrs and by far thee best.
Very greasy never ordering from them again it was horrible !
I was told Windsor has the greatest pizza. I was also told that Capri was the best place to get that pizza...was it?It was ok. This location is in a rough part of Windsor, kind of a grimy area. The store itself could use a cleaning and redesign, maybe it just looked dated.I just ordered a simple pepperoni pizza. Size small (which is the same size as a medium at Domino's).A cool thing which apparently is unique to Windsor is the pepperoni is shredded, so that you get pepperoni in every bite. I didn't find that the pepperoni had a strong taste. It was ok, but I prefer that salty, pepperoni taste on a pizza. The cheese I really liked compared to other pizza places. It tasted good and had a chewier texture. The crust was fine. I would say it's slightly thicker and doughier than other popular pizza restaurants. No complaints though.I've seen others post about burnt pizza, but I don't feel like that's a bad thing, if it's slight and not on the entire pizza. Mine had a couple of darker spots but it just adds to the texture and flavor. The cost? As I said, this small pizza I ordered was the same size as a medium at Domino's. While I can get the same sized pizza at Domino's for $8 this one cost me $17 and changeAmazing pizza? No. Good pizza? Sure. Would I make this my go-to pizza place when visiting Windsor? No. It was pricey for the quality. My go-to is Domino's or Pizza Pizza.I would recommend trying it once to see if you like it but for me this was a one and done.
