Arcata Pizzeria - Windsor

Absolutely terrible pizza and even worse service. will warn everyone I can find over this place. I don't understand what she's doing.

These people are wonderful. they delivered me a pizza over night and I had it the next morning. I haven't been in windsor for years and missed my Windsor pizza. arcata to rettung. the pizza was divine....They even called me to make sure I was happy. What else could they ask for?

Pizza is ok. if they do not disturb their order bc bob the owner makes pizza and does not reveal any mistakes.

To be clear, this review is for arcatas keto pizza not their regular wheat flour crust pizza. it's been years since we ordered their regular crust pizza, but we were never fans of this pizza too. there is a series of very good...pizza restaurants in windsor and each has its own style and taste. everyone I have ever spoken seems to have their own favorite and often our favorite (what is poorandos) is at least close to the top of the list of all. in this case, I review her keto pizza and yes I know that keto nothing is not everywhere near as good as all non-Keto, but that was really terrible. when we asked for a statement about it, the person who replied that she would never have tried what our first note should have been. the short story is that she is an extra for the keto version of her pizza (which is criminal in retrospect) but quite honestly it was the worst pizza I ever had. I had literally frozen pizzas that were better than that. we took the pizza exactly when they told us in minutes (what is another red flag) and we live minutes away, but when we got the pizza to home was not quite lukewarm. the crust we were told consists of mandel flour, which was broken into pieces when you picked it up. the crust was about a thick, like one of the cheap frozen pizzas they would buy at zehrs. actually the zehrs pizza would have tasted more. I know that everyone who reads this will say that perhaps our expectations were too high for a keto pizza, but if a restaurant would promote or sell anything, I would expect it to be tried and tested before they sell it and if it were not their expectations, they would not sell it. for me there is no possibility that they have done this because this product is terrible. we ordered this for dinner on a Saturday night so that we could pick it up in minutes, says a lot. If they were calling armandos on Saturday to dinner, they would expect to wait at least one hour because they are so busy. Unfortunately, this is our last time ever going to buy something from arcata.

We ordered an extra large pizza, and a couple of other things spent a pretty penny first of all definitely wasn't double cheese so that's a strike, second it had a funny taste, like wood, bamboo or ? I called after trusting eat one piece...and there was no answer so I left a message to inform them (and left my so they could contact me) I received no call back they were still open at the time). I called the next night and told the girl on the phone about it and told her I had left a message, she told me that they usually don't listen to them. She asked if I wanted to talk to the owner and I said yes. Then came Bob, I explained the story once again and he said all he could do was give me on my next pizza and if that wasn't good enough too bad. Well Bob, you've lost our business as well as the gift certificates we buy our kids for Christmas at each. Do the math, and as well we will let our friends and their families know. All I was trying to do was let you know that night so you could check it out to make sure none of your ingredients wasn't off or bad. Thanks for nothing!
