Ted's Sweetwater Grill Trout Pond

My family loves Teds. The restaurant is clean and inviting, the staff courteous, and the food really tasty. We mainly go for the fried trout, but also enjoy the perfectly cooked burgers. The weekend brunch menu offers tasty egg dishes and a wonderful fruitplatter.

Great place to eat! Loved the patio and atmosphere. It's a great place to hook and cook fish.

My wife, daughter, a friend and I went to Ted 's this morning for Father 's Day brunch. We arrived about an hour after opening. There were maybe 4 tables occupied out on the patio and a few tables inside but the restaurant was mostly empty. We were greetedand seated promptly by the hostess and our waitress was friendly and took our drink orders promptly. The waitress continued tocheck on us regularly for the next hour while we waited for our food. Hour is the keyword here and part if the reason for only2 stars. Once we finally got our food, my breakfast burrito was lukewarm. Wife 's eggs Benedict was also lukewarm. Weirdly ourfriends breakfast burrito was hot... at least in 1 spot. I get the feeling maybe these burritos are actually warmed in themicrowave. ???? Whatever the case both of us had varying temperatures in the contents of the burrito... mine was varying levelsof lukewarm. Bottom line, based on our experience, Ted 's has great atmosphere, reasonably good wait staff but they need helpin the kitchen.

I 'll be honest, I really wanted to like this place but sadly I was very disappointed. I took my family to brunch since my mother was visiting from out of state. I was impressed with the decor and and atmosphere, very inviting. The patio looked amazing andmy wife and I are always hunting down restaurants with great outdoor settings. The menu had lots of options but seemed to be abit on the pricy side but nothing that is a deal breaker. My only complaint and the only reason why I can 't recommend is due tothe service. My son order the fish and chips and on the menu where it clearly states that it comes with a side. When we askedour waitress about it she said that the menu was wrong and was honesty quite rude and snooty about it. She said that the 'chips ' was the side and that it would be full price $6) for the side salad. I 've never been to restaurant where the mainentree $22) is considered to be the side, If this is true a revision to the verbage on the menu needs to be made. My feedbackwould be to be more accommodating to patrons and to update wording on menu.

Our family had a great experience! The staff was extra pleasant. The vibe is awesome inside and the outside patio on the pond is beautiful. The burgers were delish and my husband said the trout fish and chips were killer!
