Chipotle Mexican Grill - Windham

I wouldn't recommend ordering any dishes with vegetables because it seems they won't prepare more when they run out for the day. This has happened to us multiple times at this location, which has never been an issue at other Chipotle locations. They usually ask if I mind waiting for a fresh batch. If there were an option for no stars, I would have selected it.

We decided to give Chipotle a chance despite the reviews here, so we ordered online for delivery through GrubHub. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a waste of both time and money. The portions we received were about half the size, if not smaller, than what we've experienced at other Chipotle locations, both in Maine and across the country. Every item we ordered was missing ingredients, and the food was unusually salty. On the bright side, it had a lot more flavor than the recently opened Tex-Mex restaurant in town, so I’m willing to give it one more try in person. For what it’s worth, our GrubHub delivery driver was prompt, polite, and efficient—definitely the highlight of this experience. (Attached is a photo of a steak taco, which was mostly devoid of meat and lacked several other ingredients.)

The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was quite clean. However, when I visited around 7:45 on a Monday night, they were out of almost everything. I ordered a steak bowl and received only about a third of a cup of steak for my $10. The guacamole, while tasting fine, looked a bit old and cost an extra $2.50, which I was aware of. Overall, it just didn’t seem worth the $14 for a salad bowl.
