Amato's Sandwich Shops - Windham

Witnessed a compassion employee tonight. Has been covered with the guy with the dark hair with the big tattoo his forearm. I'm sorry I didn't get a name. Two gentlemen, one mentally handicapped and the other who did not speak English, tried to order food. Communication was difficult for the young man in the register, not for his lack of attempts. So the other worker jumped in and treated it like a professional. He even took his own wallet to help the two men pay for their food. He didn't have to, but the fact that he was ready was hearty. The mentally handicapped man apologised because a line had formed, and this worker repeatedly told him not to apologize, the things were fine. Kudos to YOU dark haired, tatted guy! You rock!

Great food and excellent service! We needed our vegetables on the side since we were on the way and didn't want our sandwiches to get soggy and they were happy to do that. They put the veggies in plastic containers that are well kept by our travels.

Great food, nice selection, friendly staff. Sub Maker seemed to cut high AF vegetables like a person tripping. Sub-packing at the screw speed while you watch and wait. But it's worth it! I'm always here.

Had her Lobster Roll. It was delicious and very tasteful. Fast friendly service with a smile and a great atmosphere. Staff will definitely sing the music that plays great experience. What is Amato? It's a beautiful place... It's not that bad.... ah shuddupah ya face.... lol

The food is great! The customer service is wonderful! There was a mistake with my order and they went above and beyond to fix my order. I really appreciate their hard work and would recommend Windham Amatos to anyone!
