Rustica Steakhouse-Eagle Ranch Resort

We started off with calamari as an appetizer, followed by a classic burger with Caesar salad, and my husband ordered the Caesar fries. Everything was freshly made and delicious! Though the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food and the atmosphere made it worth it.

I’m sure the food and service would have rated much higher than poor had we actually been able to go to the restaurant; however, approximately one hour prior to our reservation time, we received a phone call telling us that our reservation was cancelled due to some hygiene and safety issues. Pity. Nevertheless, we will dine at Rustica in the future.

We enjoy this restaurant when we visit the Columbia Valley …

We were quite disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. I had made a reservation for a birthday celebration, but upon arrival, we were informed that the kitchen closed at 7pm. The staff appeared surprised that I had booked through Open Table as they had no record of my reservation, and didn't even bother to check. The restaurant had just opened for the season on May 1st and will need to improve significantly in order to thrive during the summer.

The service was very fast-paced. We were seated at 6:30pm and ordered our drinks and food. Our starters arrived quickly and we were still eating when our main courses were brought out "because the kitchen was closing for the night." We finished with dessert, paid the bill, and were out by 7:45pm. It was not the relaxed and romantic anniversary dinner we had hoped for.
