Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone.... This place is my favorite. Stephanie and her staff must eat the food too as they are all happy and accommodating! Southern hospitality, good food. You should change the name to Southern Dream....

Bananas Foster French Toast. This dish is to die for. It is like eating dessert for breakfast!!! So delicious!!

In honor of this day, I'm writing a review to this little darling cafe that I love. I have only been here three times and you know what they say happens on third date... I have already fallen in love. The attention is personal and pleasing. I even had the pleasure of being attended by the same server and she remembered how I liked my eggs! The soups are inspiring and made from scratch. The breakfast items are scrumptious. I have had the hash (awe inspiring) and the eggs benedict (probably the tastiest I have had in years) and the soup and sandwich option which were sooo good and hit a comfort spot on the cold day I ordered it. I'm just sad that I haven't tried more. I eagerly stretch my neck to glimpse at the plates of what looks like delectable food passing by me going to other tables and know I have to be back and try it ALL!

This is a great place a welcome addition to the local community. The food is great--creative menu items as well as the usual fare found at a breakfast, lunch place. Service is superb the owner is always present. I meet friends there regularly recommend Dixie Cafe to everyone I talk to. Try it!

Amah-zing local breakfast!. There aren't really any restuarnts in Downtown Windermere which is a shame, so Dixie Cream is a nice addition. The breakfast is good and lunch is yummy. It's not totally out of this world, but if you are looking for a friendly, local, not generic and not lame breakfast... this place is it! I don't think people in Orlando really get what a good breakfast place is...it's crazy that First Watch has a line out the door for breakfast, but I can just wait a few minutes at Dixie Cream and sit down to delicious fresh breakfast that didn't come out of the freezer.
