Rizzo's Of Windber

Not only was the food delicious and incredible, but from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed so warmly by the staff. Our waitress, Tiffany, went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience. We were dining in for my brother's 30th surprise party we had a large party of 10+ and were slightly rowdy. We were seated in a private room with plenty of space. Tiffany was absolutely the best server I've ever had. She stayed on top of our drinks the entire time. I had the Chicken Parm for dinner, it was incredible. Once dinner was over, Tiffany went out of her way to bring out the Birthday Cake we brought in with the candles lit, and the entire staff sang Happy Birthday to my brother. This was such a great and fun surprise but it doesn't end there. Tiffany and the staff took the cake back and offered to cut and individually serve slices to my family. This experience was amazing, so kind, unexpected, and allowed my family to relax and have an incredibly fun party and meal at Rizzo's. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be coming back for more family celebrations and will be recommending you guys to everyone who passes through Windber. I do not understand why the prices are as high as they are for mediocre food. The steak was very bland and flavorless, and you get better quality of steak at a Ruby Tuesday or something similar. It wasn't worth the over 100.00 we paid here. I get that this is a local gem, but seriously, learn to flavor the steaks correctly...

I 've never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. We walked past several empty booths on the way to the hostess stand where we were told we 'd have to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. Ok.. They might be reserved because I understand that there 's a lot of reservations here. As we were waiting, a guy walks in and says do you have a table? The hostess asks how many in his group and then proceeds to sit him in one of the empty booths. When she returned my husband told her we are good with a booth and she says umm..well that 's different with him . Why?! We ended up waiting another 10 minutes. We finally get a table in the back room and I see Refills Extra on the menu. I thought this was a fine dining restaurant not some shady joint that needs to nickel and dime you for soda! I also find it extremely funny that their slogan is Where dining is fun . What in the world makes this place fun? White walls with grandma curtains. Someone please tell me what makes this a fun restaurant. The food was ok and the bread was good I have to admit...but definitely not something I 'd go back for after being treated like trash.

We went there for my mom birthday. I can’t say enough good things about our evening. The service was amazing, food was incredible and they even sang to her with the cake I brought in. The wait staff was on top of everything. It was a great night! 10/10 highly recommend
