Waterfront Lounge - Winchester

We stopped here on our way back from a zip-line tour. The food was delicious, and as promised, there’s a lovely view of the river, especially from the outdoor seating. The service was outstanding. We ordered a burger and a pasta salad, both of which were great. I also loved the unique decor. To top it off, there was live music during our visit on Saturday night. I’m really glad we made the stop!

The burgers were excellent! The onion rings and fries were also tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the salad, which exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the views of the river were lovely.

This is a laid-back spot by the Kentucky River where you can enjoy a salt block grilled sandwich accompanied by a beer, wine, or mixed drink. Plus, they feature live bands two weekends each month.

Great stop in the area! The owner chatted me and explained the place as well as how they use a salt block to cook some of their foods. Wasn't disappointed! The chili was great, and the burger came hot, fresh and fast and the taste... EXCELLENT! Cooking on the salt gave a fabulous taste! You have a huge deck in your back and plenty of space to dine. Check out the fun bathrooms on your way out. Also easily accessible for handicap requirements. Go and enjoy!

Flank steak with fries and baked beans. Beer cheese appetizer, yum. If you want a little heat with your cheese, gonna get it here. But not too hot. Meatloaf, potato salad and onion rings for hubby. He was very happy. Waitress was very accommodating and pleasant, Haley was her name.
